Oh if Spooky could see him now.
He did several laps around the place, curious as to why the entire city was encased in domes. And why was it modeled after the American West? Classic American west. He was pretty sure he passed by a saloon on his run around the place. Air and wind seemed to be Earth Normal, as Hal would say. And after their little jaunt into space, Barry was hoping he'd have an opportunity to sit down for terra firma. At least he could stay on earth for a little while. A little! Come on! Maybe there was a Green Lantern he could get in touch with in this sector. Hal had mentioned there was one in nearly every sector of the universe, right?
Another lap. Another one. With the gust of wind marking his presence anywhere and the yellow lightning, for those who could see it, also making his presence known. Gravity seemed Earth Norm as well. He tried his communicator that was a part of his suit multiple times already.
No response from the League.
Was it some kind of joke? Was Hal pranking him? Possible but Hal didn't seem to be the type to take a joke this far. Maybe put superglue in his boots but nothing beyond that harmless act. He stopped in front of the laboratories that he had passed by earlier to think. Okay, maybe he's on his own here. And that was okay. HE was on his own for a bit before he joined Spooky and gang. He really needed to stop calling Batman spooky. It was just so catchy as a nickname, though.
A pang of loneliness filled him for a moment. No Central City, no League, no Hal, no one that would be familiar. He had to get home. The people that processed him said that he might be able to return home, to visit soon enough. But in the meantime? He wondered...
